Introducing Trick Class!

The River Runners will be holding a dog trick class Sunday evenings at 6pm, starting July 17th. This is primarily a clicker training class, and will focus on showy tricks that lend themselves to musical freestyle, and plain old showing-off for friends and family.

This class is currently full, but if there is enough interest a second class could begin as early as August. Please email us for details, and a spot on the waiting list!

Club Philosophy

River Runners is a non-profit organization competing in flyball, and devoted to promoting responsible dog ownership by educating and encouraging all newcomers to the world of dogs, and by promoting cooperation and good sportsmanship.

We train, we travel, we demonstrate, and we compete, and we do this week after week all year long because ... well, because it's a blast!

Flyball is growing in popularity every year. Since River Runners began in 1998, we have gone from being the only Saskatoon dog club competing in flyball, to one of four clubs in the Saskatoon area who train and compete. We also host one of two tournaments in the Saskatoon area annually.
